After exploring and conquering LakeHolon, here’s another attraction that will certainly sooth your tired muscles. Indulge yourself at the 4-kilometer subterranean Bakngeb River Cave situated in Sitio Bakngeb, Brgy. Laconon T’boli, South Cotabato.


Just a 35 min (15.4 km) ride in “habal-habal” from Lake Holon, take a swim at the crystal clear and cold river pool which came from an underground cave system and explore what’s inside Bakngeb Cave.

After a thrilling water activities, you can stay overnight and pitch a tent by the riverside or stay at Bakngeb River Cave Receiving Center for P150/head as well as try the native foods prepared by the locals cooked inside a bamboo or in banana leaves.
How to get there:
  1. From Lake Holon
  •       Ask the habal-habal driver to drive directly at Bakngeb River (P40-50/head)
      2. By Plane: 
  •        From General Santos City International Airport
1.      Take the airport shuttle service van to SM General Santos P150.
2.      Ride a tricycle going to Bulaong terminal P20-30
3.      Look for a bus bound for Marbel (Koronadal City) P90-P120.
4.      Ride a bus bound for Surallah P30-P50.
5.      At Surallah Integrated Transport Terminal, look for vans bound for Tboli P30-P40
6.      Inquire the locals for the location of T’boli Municipal Hall and register at the tourism office.

        3. By Land: 
  •         From Bulaong terminal, look for buses (usually Yellow Bus Line or Mindanao Star Bus) bound to Marbel and follow steps number 4 to 6.
You can leave your backpacks and other belongings at the receiving area.
